Profile Fields are the fields seen by users, when they “edit their profile”.

All profile fields are set in Storefront_Settings>Profile Fields.

Storefront – in all cases, NEW users to the primary storefront URL, will only have to fill in Name, Email, Telephone and Password. However, when they click on edit my profile, they will potentially see more fields, depending on what you have selected.

Custom Accounts – can use their own selection of fields (though the fields must first exist in the original list in Storefront Settings).

Some examples of Profile Fields are:

Title, Position, Suffix, Qualifications, Skype, Twitter etc.

Please don’t use profile fields to house addresses, as they are kept elsewhere.
